Held in 2007 before 3,500 people at the world famous Kodak Theater in Hollywood, home of the Oscars (now the Dolby Theater); and in 2008 before 6,000 viewers at the Nokia Theater’s LA Live venue in Downtown Los Angeles, The Elevate Film Festival became the largest single-screen-one-day film festival in the world.  Featuring 52 independent short films shot around the world within a variety of genres including dramatic narrative, comedy, documentary, music video and commercial; with only one stipulation; that each film’s premise be focused on elevating the human spirit and consciousness.
